Gladiator Performance

The Gladiator has a 3.6-liter V6 that delivers 260 lb-ft of torque, which mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission, as well as 285 horsepower. The uprated engine is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 that 442 lb-ft of torque, which mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission, as well as 260 horsepower.

Regardless of which engine you select, the Gladiator is capable on the roads and delivers consistent, reliable power for around-town driving and highway rides. Both engines are standard with four-wheel drive for off-roading, which allows the Gladiator to take on mud, sand, rocks, and snow. The Gladiator includes many off-road features, such as skid plates, a two-speed transfer case, and low-range gears. Suitably equipped, the Gladiator can tow between 4,000 and 7,650 pounds.


Gladiator Interior

The Gladiator comes in a four-door model with five supportive, comfortable seats. Both the rear and front seats offer ample legroom and headroom for adults to ride comfortably. Cloth upholstery comes standard, but you can enhance interior comfort with leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated seats. Both a soft-top and a hard-top roof are available, and the doors are removable on all models.

The 5-foot truck bed can haul between 1,075 and 1,700 pounds. Several features make the bed more usable, including low bed rails for easy unloading and loading and a tailgate that can be secured in closed, open, or midway positions to haul longer cargo. The cabin has numerous small storage spaces as well, so passengers can stow their keys, phone, or wallet.


Gladiator Features

The Gladiator comes with a 5-inch touchscreen with crisp graphics and an easy-to-use interface that includes both touch inputs and physical knobs and buttons. A 7-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen is also available. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone integration are also present, giving you the option to stream music or media on the go. Optional features include HD radio, navigation, and a nine-speaker sound system.

Several safety features are present for the Gladiator, including rear parking sensors and a forward-facing camera. Adaptive cruise control is available, which adjusts your cruising speed to keep a safe distance on the highway. Forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking is also available, which alerts you to frontal crashes and activates the brakes to minimize the impact. Another highlight is blind-spot monitoring, which alerts you if you're changing lanes or reversing with another vehicle or pedestrian nearby.
